The Credo of Force: Anima Principles Laid Bare

Beneath the mechanistic order of SG TAC, Anima is not mythology — it is doctrine. Each civilisation's ethic of force, kinship, and sacrifice is mapped against the raw geometry of spiritual physics. What emerges is neither formula nor faith, but something more palpable: a mosaic of existential caste, written in energy and merit. The principles do not illuminate. They grapple.

Frame 1
The Anima Chronicles World Map
The world is shaped by seven major civilizations and regions: Nova Terra, Shadow Scab, Crater City, Tidalcross, the Drift Coalition, Aetherion, and Emberveil.
Each occupies a distinct geographic region and represents a unique cultural, environmental, and technological expression of life on the planet.
Together, these civilizations form a connected planetary network defined by cooperation, conflict, adaptation, trade, and the ongoing negotiation between advanced technology, spiritual forces, and the living world itself.
Frame 2
Interstellar space map of the Vortex civilization
10 light-year sphere of human colonial space as a living civilizational network in deep space.
The map includes Luna Complex, the Asteroid Belt with Ceres Station, the Outer System colonies at Titan, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto, and Enceladus, and the Interstellar Colonies of Alpha Centauri Prime, Proxima Station, Barnard’s Hope, and minor outposts.
The Vortex Gate network is central to the composition, linking the colonies through transit arcs, relay nodes, and stability markers, while the overall mood conveys fragile expansion, vast distance, and the precarious dependence of every settlement on the network that holds them together.
Frame 3
Before the Tell. Before the light breaks open.
Each Principle announces itself in sound — deep bells stretched toward silence, sternum-struck subsonic weight, the whip-crack and collapse of pure velocity.
Harmonic merges yield unexpected beauty. Forced merges birth a third, ungoverned thing. Dissonant merges fight themselves before any eye confirms the struggle.
And then: The Drop. Two seconds. Five. The absence of everything one has learned to expect — felt in the body as vanishment, painstakingly earned, transcendent in its silence.
Frame 4
LUMINA manifests as prismatic fractures splitting the air—hard-light constructs that bend perception itself.
Where its presence concentrates, shadows sharpen to knife-edges, and ordinary surfaces become translucent, revealing the layered truth beneath: the golden threads
Frame 5
FLUIDICA manifests as liquid air itself—currents of invisible substance that bend light like water bending starlight, leaving trails of suspended droplets that hang weightless before collapsing into mist.
The sensory signature is immediate: rushing water echoing from nowhere, a low bubbling that seems to originate from the chest itself, and the muffled underwater quality of sound when reality becomes medium rather than void.
A Cloud-Weaver's hand rises, and the atmosphere responds—moisture coalesces into visible streams that flow upward in defiance of gravity, each droplet catching the light as it spirals into a nascent dew-harvest, the air itself becoming negotiable substance.
Frame 6
MOMENTUM manifests as a crimson streak cutting through reality—a violence of motion that refuses stillness.
The air splits with a jet whine that builds to a sonic crack, as if space itself is being torn open by something moving too fast to follow.
Storm Riders feel it first in their bones: a compulsive thrumming, a need to move, to accelerate, to never rest. A bonded rider's hands tremble when the sand-ship slows; their eyes dart; their breath quickens into hyperventilation.
The Principle appears as neon speed-lines that linger in the visual field like scars, air shockwaves that distort the horizon into ripples, and a faint smell of ozone and scorched metal.
Frame 7
VITALIS manifests as an emerald pulse beneath skin and soil—the verdant signature of life itself.
Where it flows, matter remembers how to grow: severed limbs knit with visible veins of glowing sap, withered plants unfurl new leaves in seconds, and the air itself tastes of copper and rain.
Vitalis does not erase what broke you.
It insists you carry it forward — bark that remembers fire, leaves that grew back stronger.
Frame 8
ENERGIA manifests as blinding electric blue fractals that arc and splinter through air, each tendril of light leaving afterimages that burn themselves into vision.
The sound arrives first—a high-pitched capacitor whine that builds to a crackling static symphony, then resolves in sharp thunderclaps that rattle teeth and chest.
Frame 9
GRAVITA manifests as deep purple lensing that warps the air itself—space bends inward around its presence, as if reality is being slowly crushed toward a single point.
The visual effect is of invisible weight made visible: objects near its influence develop halos of distortion, their edges blurring as though photographed through heat-warped glass, while the ground beneath seems to press downward with geological patience.
Gravita does not threaten. It simply reminds you what you weigh.
At 17Hz, the world's skeleton begins to confess.
A metallic groaning as if the world's skeleton is under unbearable stress, each pulse a reminder that gravity is not gentle but relentless.
Frame 10
COHESIVA manifests as amber geometric lattices spreading through fractured stone—blocky reinforcements that knit shattered matter into unified form, each facet catching light like a cut diamond.
The air around active Cohesiva shimmers with the sound of grinding stone and locking mechanisms engaging, a deep subsonic rumble that resonates through bone and bedrock alike.
When a practitioner channels it, their skin hardens to slate gray, veins of amber light tracing the architecture of their skeleton as structural integrity flows outward—walls fuse seamlessly, broken girders seal themselves whole, but the cost is immediate: muscles ache, breath comes shallow, the body burns calories as if forging steel.
Frame 11
NOETICA does not arrive. It surfaces — natal and inevitable, like a forgotten name reclaiming its rightful place.
Noetica manifests as silver mist coalescing at the threshold of perception—not quite visible, sensed rather than seen, like the moment before remembering a forgotten word.
Noetica exacts no caloric toll. Its price is clarity — every comfortable self-deception retracted, every deepest uncertainty risen, cold and tangible, into the light.
Where it touches consciousness, the air rings with an ethereal frequency that bypasses the ear entirely, resonating instead in the hollow spaces behind the eyes. A bond to Noetica glows as a soft radiance within the chest, a warmth that broadcasts outward, making those near feel suddenly known—their private thoughts momentarily legible, their isolation briefly dissolved.
Frame 12
THERMA manifests as a duality of extremes: one moment, steam hisses and cracks like a thousand breaking ice sheets, the air itself fracturing into visible thermal gradients—heat-shimmer rising in waves that distort the frame, while frost crystallizes instantaneously on nearby surfaces in geometric fractals of impossible precision.
The next moment arrives as freeze-silence—a void where sound dies completely, where the absence of thermal movement becomes so profound that even air seems to crystallize mid-vibration, leaving only a suffocating, crystalline quiet that presses inward like absolute zero given weight.
Between burning and frozen, the wielder is not destroyed. They are the paradox.
Frame 13
PROBABILIS manifests as reality fracturing into overlapping outcomes—a thousand possible versions of the next moment existing simultaneously, each flickering like a dying star.
The air shimmers with databending distortion: numbers materialize and dissolve mid-air, dice tumble through space at impossible angles, their faces shifting between states before landing on no face at all.
Static bursts punctuate the scene like nervous laughter, each crackle carrying whispered probabilities in voices that sound almost human but never quite synchronize.
Where the practitioner's consciousness touches Probabilis, patterns snap into focus—the chaos suddenly readable, a symphony of choice emerging from noise.
Frame 14
SPATIA manifests as a warping of perspective itself—distances compress and expand in stuttering increments, as if space is breathing in irregular intervals.
At the Null Field's edge, distance collapses inward — a geometric prison where even Anima bonds suffocate. The air tastes of nothing. Reality's seams, mercilessly, show.
The visual signature is Escher-like: parallel lines converge at impossible angles, doorways lead sideways through solid walls, and the horizon folds back on itself.
When one pilots under Spatia's influence, the cockpit walls become transparent geometries of layered depth; he perceives not just the ship's position but the topology of the void around it—each asteroid, each stellar body, each danger rendered as a three-dimensional relationship rather than a target on a screen.
Frame 15
RESONANTIA manifests as transparent air itself made visible—rippling outward in concentric rings of distortion, each wave carrying a frequency made flesh.
A pure sine curve hums at the center, crystalline and perfect, but as it expands, the harmonics fracture: some rings reinforce into deeper resonance - visible as thickened, almost solid bands of shimmer - while others collide and cancel, creating pockets of absolute stillness where sound dies.
To channel it is to become the tuning fork — teeth aching, vision fragmenting, the body itself a harbinger of imbalance seeking its overtone.
Frame 16
MAGNETICA manifests as invisible architecture made visible—iron filings suspended in mid-air trace geometric constellations around the practicioner's frame, each particle locked in perfect alignment, humming with restless potential.
Invisible architecture. Iron made obedient.
The air itself becomes heavy, charged; metallic objects within meters gravitate toward him with magnetic hunger, their surfaces reflecting fractured blue auroras that pulse in rhythm with his heartbeat.
Frame 17
CHRONO is the principle through which time reveals its own pressure, distortion, and memory.
It does not merely measure duration; it bends sequence, preserves echoes of what has been and what will be, and exposes reality as layered rather than linear.
Where Chrono gathers, the present becomes unstable: moments repeat, accelerate, fracture, or overlap, and the world seems to remember its own future.
It is the force of temporal inevitability, of recurrence, drift, delay, and collapse. Chrono turns change into pattern and makes every structure vulnerable to the slow authority of time.
Frame 18
OSCILLA manifests as concentric rings of pale violet light, each expanding and contracting in perfect synchrony—a visual metronome beating against the fabric of reality itself.
The rings pulse outward from an invisible center, their rhythm so precise it seems to govern the breath of those nearby; a Storm Rider's heartbeat unconsciously syncs to the pattern, her sand-ship's sails rippling in measured waves that match the Spectre's cadence.
The air itself trembles with a deep, resonant thrumming—not heard but felt—a hypnotic loop that speaks of orbital mechanics and the moon's ancient dance before the Dissonance shattered it
Frame 19
MERGE is the principle of union, resonance, and synthesis, governing the joining of separate beings, forces, or expressions of Anima into something greater than their individual parts.
Harmonic Merge occurs when compatible energies unite in balance, creating new possibilities while preserving the identities of all participants.
Forced Merge occurs when connection is imposed through necessity, pressure, or imbalance, producing strain, instability, and competition between the merged elements.
Dissonant Merge occurs when incompatible forces fail to achieve coherence, resulting in distortion, conflict, and the breakdown of harmony itself.
Merge also governs dormant connections and latent potential, allowing hidden strengths to awaken when true resonance, purpose, or need is achieved.
Frame 20
The TETHER is the living link through which a being connects to Anima, bonded forces, or a merged expression of power. It enables resonance, exchange, and access, but it also creates dependency and cost.
BURNOUT is the state of overdraw and depletion that occurs when the Tether is strained beyond what the body or spirit can sustain. It manifests as fading vitality, heavy exhaustion, weakened resonance, and a loss of brilliance in both presence and power.
Together, Tether and Burnout define the price of Anima: every act of connection is also an act of expenditure.
